Instagram without Explore
Explore is where Instagram decides what you should be looking at next, whether you asked or not. Dull removes it. The Explore tab, the grid that loads when you tap search, and suggested posts are all stripped before the page renders. You still have Feed, Stories, DMs, and the search bar itself. 7-day free trial, then $3.99/mo.
Instagram has no setting to turn off Explore. Apple Screen Time can cap your total Instagram time but can't touch individual surfaces. Safari content blockers only work in Safari. Dull gets you Instagram without the Explore page — and, if you want, without Reels, without suggested posts, and without the algorithmic feed reordering — by loading Instagram through its own browser and removing those parts at the DOM level.
